The relationship with the United States of
America is one of the Bangladesh's most durable
and important bilateral partnerships. The two
countries enjoy unique ties of culture and
history. Economically, the USA has many
direct investment, many US government and non
government agencies and organizations are
working in Bangladesh. Also Bangladesh is
one of largest exporter of readymade garments to
the U.S. These factors combined underline the
variety and enduring nature of U.S.-Bangladesh
links.
The Bangladesh Embassy
works to maintain and broaden this relationship
which is characterized by successful cooperation
across a wide range of political, economic and
security issues. Representatives from the
Foreign Ministry and other government
agencies manage portfolios concerning economic,
commercial and agricultural affairs, consular
and immigration issues, customs, transportation,
and law enforcement activities, as well as
political and military relations, and public
affairs.

and Bangladesh Holidays
Embassy operating hours are Monday-Friday
9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
but
some Sections and Agencies within the
Embassy may differ.
