A seminar on investment opportunities in Bangladesh for NRB investors will be organized by American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and Architects (AABEA) Washington, DC chapter in collaboration with the Bangladesh Embassy in the uSA at the Embassy auditorium on 18 January 2009 from 3 - 5 pm. The first day of Bangla year 1416 was observed in the Embassy of Bangladesh on 11 April 2009 at 5:00 pm at Embassy premises. Bangladeshi community members and friends of Bangladesh joined the celebration on the day. The day's event included a cultural program to highlight our culture and heritage.
The seminar was arranged at the Embassy in association with two other Washington, DC based organizations namely, World Watch Institute and International Club of DC. It was a part of ongoing efforts by the Embassy to partner with variety of social organizations and think tanks in the United States to generate interest about Bangladesh and the issues like this one, which affect Bangladesh and other developing countries.
